Providing protection for search and rescue group dogs

The purpose of this bill is to include police canine units and community search and rescue group canines assisting law-enforcement officers in the search and rescue for individuals and cadavers in definitions of "law enforcement officers" in relation to crimes against law enforcement officers and the level of force allowable to protect the canines as law enforcement officers.
