State of Men’s Health Act
A bill to direct the Secretary of Health and Human Services to study and report on the state of men's health in the United States and to establish an Office of Men's Health within the Department of Health and Human Services.
This bill, SB5113, proposes that the Secretary of Health and Human Services study the current state of men's health across the United States and create a dedicated Office of Men's Health within the Department of Health and Human Services. The goal is to better understand and address specific health issues that affect men, aiming to improve their overall health outcomes.
The bill would impact men across the country by potentially leading to more tailored health policies and services that address their unique health needs. It would also create a new office within the Department of Health and Human Services, which would focus on men's health issues and coordinate efforts to improve their health.
Introduced on July 23, 2026, the bill has been read twice and referred to the Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions for further consideration. As of now, it is in the initial stages of the legislative process.
