Honor Their Service Act
To amend title 38, United States Code, to authorize the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to award grants to eligible entities to provide immigration legal services to noncitizen veterans, and for other purposes.
The "Honor Their Service Act" proposes to allow the Department of Veterans Affairs to give grants to qualified organizations, so they can offer legal assistance to non-U.S. citizen veterans seeking immigration benefits. This means these veterans could get help navigating the complex process of becoming U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
