Form 990 Immigrant Resettlement Schedule Act
To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to require the reporting of information on activities relating to the resettlement or relocation of noncitizens into the United States by certain tax-exempt organizations, and for other purposes.
This bill proposes to change the Internal Revenue Code to require certain tax-exempt organizations to report details about their activities related to helping noncitizens settle or move into the United States. These organizations would need to provide information on their resettlement efforts as part of their annual tax filings.
The bill would mainly affect tax-exempt organizations that engage in resettlement activities for noncitizens. These groups would need to ensure they report the required information accurately to comply with the new rules.
As of April 16, 2026, the bill has just been introduced in the House of Representatives and referred to the House Committee on Ways and Means. This means it is in the early stages of the legislative process. No further actions have been taken yet.
